SHIPPING POLICY

Shipping Deadlines

Orders will generally ship out within one business day on in-stock items. Expedited orders may ship out the same day as ordered depending on when the order is received.

Carriers

Shore Power Inc ships by DHL, UPS, FedEx or USPS for domestic and international parcel orders. Large orders ship freight LTL. Unless otherwise specified, orders will be shipped by standard UPS Ground service or USPS. Please note that certain products that are classified ORMD will not be shipped by air under any circumstances.

Freight Costs

Shore Power Inc will add freight charges to the customer's invoice for all orders, unless otherwise specifically agreed to before the order is shipped.

Order Discrepancies

Please check your package to verify that you have received everything you ordered. We want to quickly resolve any discrepancies that may have taken place. Please check for any missing items, items damaged in transit, defective items or wrong sizes/colors. We must be notified of any order discrepancies within 7 days of the date of delivery. Any notification of a discrepancy more than 7 days from the date of delivery will not be considered. All damaged parcels must be documented with the delivery driver.

International Shipments

Please note:

  1. Certain products and brands distributed by Shore Power Inc are not available for export. Check with your sales representative for details.
  2. Shore Power Inc is not responsible for estimating, or paying Customs Duties, Fees, Taxes, and or Brokerage Costs. Also Shore Power Inc is not responsible for any product(s) held or seized by Customs or Government Agents: it is the importer’s responsibility to know and abide by all laws, codes, and restrictions on products ordered through Shore Power Inc.
  3. On Customer's Account Shipments

    Customers may elect to ship on their own UPS or FedEx account

    In the event that an order containing backorders is selected for partial shipments, the customer is responsible for the charges on each shipment

RETURN POLICY

All returns MUST be sent back to the retail drop shipper/retail dealer for inspection to assess if the item is viable to return to Shore Power Inc.

Shore Power Inc customers MUST obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization # (RMA) before attempting to return any merchandise to Shore Power Inc. Orders returned to Shore Power Inc without an authorized RMA # will be returned to the shipper at the customer’s expense. Certain manufacturers insist on defective or damaged merchandise being returned directly to them, so you need to check with us first!

To be eligible for return the item(s) must meet the following criteria:

  1. Shore Power Inc must be notified of the intent to return the item(s) within 15 days of our shipping date.
  2. The item(s) must be in their original condition, unopened, and with no retail markings or stickers.
  3. We do not pay for return shipping but will pay shipping on the replacement item for domestic orders. International buyers pay shipping both ways.
  4. The retail drop shipper / retail dealer must obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization # prior to returning the item(s).
    • Shore Power Inc will not accept any returned merchandise without a valid RMA#.
    • To obtain an RMA #, call 1-860-581-4540, or email us at sales@shorepowerinc.com. A customer service representative will give you an RMA # that must be clearly indicated on the outside of the return parcel, as well as on any paperwork.
    • RMA#'s are valid for 15 days and the return must be received by Shore Power Inc at the below address in that timeframe for credit.

Any returns shipped to any other address will not be processed and no credit will be provided.

Restocking Fees

Non-defective merchandise returned to Shore Power Inc. for any reason other than a mis-shipment of product will be subject to a restocking fee of 15%.

Exclusions

We will not be able to issue an RMA# for discontinued or Special Ordered items, unless they are defective.
